Enterprising Women, the leading national business community and network for women, will bring its specialist roadshow event to Torbay next month, to help local women unlock their business potential.
The ‘Realising Your Potential’ event, which will take place on Wednesday 16 May at the Riviera International Conference Centre from 10am-3.30pm, is open to all businesswomen thinking about starting or already running their own businesses.
Led by experienced trainer and social entrepreneur Eileen Lennon, from economic development and business support company YTKO, the event will feature interactive workshops designed to help build self-belief and enhance decision-making and creativity.
In describing the workshops, Eileen Lennon says, “Creative knowledge-sharing sessions provide a great opportunity to give and receive new ideas, business guidance, motivation and support. We’ll be sharing tools to help build inner confidence and enable women in business to take control in any situation by thinking, feeling and acting in a way that will attract opportunities.”
The event will also feature guest keynote speaker and local entrepreneur Jayne Stroud who, as founder and Executive Director of The Training Partnership Ltd, will share her own experiences of starting and growing a successful company in Torbay.
Delivered in partnership with free local business start-up support programme Outset Torbay, this one-day event is part of the Herald Express Women of Achievement initiative, which seeks to recognise, inspire and celebrate the talents of women in South Devon and also inspire our ‘Women of the Future’.
Registration for the event costs £20 (including lunch).
